Once in Finland, clean and peaceful nature is just something you have to experience to balance the hustle and buzzle of city centres. Approximately 30 kilometres away from Turku there is a Kurjenrahka national park with large mires and old deep forests. Forest Power is a half-day tour which takes you to the Kurjenrahka national park to explore the nature and try some food specialities eaten outdoors. The tour starts from Turku city centre by a minivan which takes us to the national park. In the national park we will walk approximately 6 kilometres and have some Finnish chocolate and berry juice in our backpacks in order to prevent starving and dehydration along the walk. During the hike we pass Pikeperch's Snout which is a boundary marking stone of seven surrounding municipalities.
After the walk it is time to cook lunch in a camp fire together. It will be a traditional Finnish camp fire lunch including sausages and pancakes. Afterwards there is still some time to visit Kurjenpesä Nature Information Hut before we will take the minivan back to Turku.
In deep snow conditions snowshoes will be used in this tour.
